Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device so they can recognise you across pages and visits. Some are strictly necessary; others are used for analytics or advertising.

Which cookies we use

This blog uses one optional category: analytics.

If you accept on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets the following cookies:

We do not use advertising cookies, social-media tracking cookies, or any third-party marketing pixels.

We also store one item in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) called pia_consent, which remembers whether you accepted or declined the analytics cookies so we don't show the banner on every visit.

How to opt in or out

You will see a cookie banner on your first visit. Click Accept to allow analytics cookies, or Decline to block them. Your choice is stored in your browser.

To change your mind: clear your browser cookies and local storage for this site, then refresh. The banner will reappear.

You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings. The blog will continue to work without them.

For details on what we do with the analytics data we collect, see our Privacy Policy.
